The Boxborough Minutemen Company

Since 1967

The Boxborough District Minutemen Company was founded to perpetuate the memory of the Minutemen of 1775 and their historic fight for the cause of liberty and justice, as well as to

  • Celebrate their heritage and customs

  • Support and encourage a continuing interest in the history of America’s Revolutionary War and colonial era, especially to the youth of Boxborough

  • Promote good citizenship among our fellow countrymen by our example

  • Perform philanthropic deeds and services that benefit our community

Community

“We organize community fund raising and social events, such as the Fifer’s Day Festival that provides a large portion of the funds used to support our community service activities.

The Company actively participates in historical commemorative events, such as the annual reenactment of the April 19, 1775 Minutemen march to the Battle of Concord.

We also perform community service activities such as Adopt-A-Highway, and participate in local celebratory events such as parades and civic dedications.”
