Weeklong Programs

Acton Rec – No School Adventure Program

  • Dates: April 21 – 24 (Tuesday – Friday)

  • Time: 8AM – 4PM

  • Grades: K – 6

  • Location: Acton Recreation Center - Large Multi-purpose Room

  • Cost: $110/day or $355/week

  • Information: Join Acton Parks & Recreation for a fun-filled April Break featuring daily field trips and supervised activities. Trips include New England Aquarium, Trombetta's Farm, WooSox Baseball Game and Launch Trampoline Park (Woburn)

Ayer Multi Sport Camp

  • Dates: April 21 – 24 (Tuesday – Friday)

  • Time: 9AM – 3PM

  • Ages: 5 – 12

  • Location: Ayer-Shirley Regional High School

  • Cost: $265 per child (resident or non-resident)

  • Information: Viking’s Multi-Sports Camps are a fun variety of sports including: soccer, basketball, baseball, flag football, dodgeball, kickball, capture the flag, floor hockey, team handball, watermelon, reindeer tails, and many other sports, gym games, and camp activities. Our goal for every camper is to make sure they have the most fun ever in a safe environment. No screens. Just lots of sports, games, running around, and tons of fun! At all of our Multi-Sport Camps, the week concludes with Tournament Day! All Viking campers will receive a Viking T-shirt and trophy!

Snapology- Ayer Rec Department

  • Dates: April 21 – 24 (Tuesday – Friday)

  • Time: 9AM – 3PM

  • Ages: 6 – 12

  • Location: Ayer-Shirley Regional High School - Media Center

  • Cost: $299 per child

  • Information: In AttackBots & SuperStructures, students will dive into two exciting STEM adventures—designing competitive robots and constructing massive architectural builds. This program is perfect for young builders who love robots, engineering, and hands-on challenges that spark creativity and problem-solving!

Teamworks April Vacation

  • Dates: April 20 – 24 (Monday – Friday)

  • Time: Half and full day options available. Times vary between 8AM – 4PM

  • Ages: 4 – 14

  • Location: Teamworks Acton

  • Cost: Prices vary by program. Daily and weekly rates available.

  • Information: Children will stay busy each day with a wide range of games, sports, arts ’n’ crafts, and exciting, age-appropriate activities. Half and full day options available.

Littleton Rec- April Vacation

  • Dates: April 21 – 24 (Tuesday – Friday)

  • Time: 8:30AM – 3:30PM. Options available for 7:30AM - 5:30PM

  • Grades: K – 6

  • Location: 36 King St, Littleton- THE CLUB

  • Cost: $370 Resident / $380 Nonresident; Per Day: $105 Resident / $110 Nonresident

  • Information: Each day features either an exciting field trip or engaging performer, designed to keep kids active, creative, and entertained all week long. Trips include Mel’s Funway (Mini golf, bumper boats, & ice cream!), WooSox Baseball Game and Urban Air trampoline park.

Earth Week @ Discovery Museum

  • Dates: April 18 – 26

  • Times: 10AM – 12PM and 1PM – 3PM

  • Ages: Best for ages 1 – 12

  • Location: 177 Main Street, Acton

  • Cost: Included in cost of admission to museum. Check your library for passes!

Space Week- Scavenger Hunt

  • Date: April 20 – 23

  • Time: 10AM – 6PM

  • Ages: All ages

  • Location: Hazen Memorial Library, Shirley

  • Cost: Free

  • Information: Find all of the hidden planets and space themed objects for a chance to win a prize. Prize awarded on Saturday April 25th.

Teen Video Game Design Workshop

  • Date: April 21

  • Time: 2PM – 4PM

  • Grades: 7 – 12

  • Location: Acton Memorial Library

  • Cost: Free

  • Information: Join high school student and Teen Advisory Group member, Tulasii, to learn how to create your own side-scroller video game using Godot!
    You will learn the coding language and get to start working on your project during the workshop. Registration is required.

Kids Space Themed Acrylic Paint Class

  • Date: April 21

  • Time: 3PM – 4:30PM

  • Grades: K – 5

  • Location: Hazen Memorial Library, Shirley

  • Cost: Free

  • Information: No painting with acrylics experience is needed. All supplies will be provided. Each participant will go home with a painted canvas. Please register by calling 978-425-2620 or visiting the Front Desk.

Teen Invasive Plant Brigade

  • Date: April 23

  • Time: 2PM – 4PM

  • Ages: Teens and Tweens

  • Location: Acton Memorial Library

  • Cost: Free

  • Information: Do you need volunteer hours before the school year is done?

    Come work with the Acton Sustainability Office to remove invasive plants from our parks around town.

Dino Tracks and Artifacts

  • Date: April 23

  • Time: 10AM – 3PM

  • Ages: All ages

  • Location: Leominster City Hall

  • Cost: Free

  • Information: A Walk-thru Display of Fossils and Artifacts from Israel, Egypt, and the Ancient Near East; Perfect for Science Lovers, History Buffs, and Explorers of All Ages (Plus Hands-on Discovery Stations for Kids!)
